Police cordon off street after city stabbing

Police have cordoned off a street in Leicester after a man was stabbed.
Leicestershire Police said it was called following a report a man had been assaulted by a group of men near to the junction with Pindar Road at 15:33 GMT on Wednesday.
The victim was taken to hospital with "stab and slash" wounds, which are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing, said police.
The cordon remains in place between the junctions of Pindar Road and Kay Road and no arrests have been made.
