The Jersey Football Association (JFA) is looking for a new President.

Bradley Vowden stepped down from the role in June after six years in the position.

The JFA has asked accredited local clubs to nominate candidates for the ambassadorial role.

The deadline for submissions is the 21 September.

The JFA praised Mr Vowden for his work in promoting football in the island.

It said his contribution "has been greatly valued and we thank him for his service and dedication".

It added: "We are seeking a president who shares our commitment to developing and promoting football across the island."

It is a voluntary role and applications should be sent to JFA CEO Tim Pryor.
