Drink-drive arrest after passenger seriously hurt

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after his passenger suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash.
Norfolk Police said a grey Seat Leon left the road at the junction of Ducks Foot Road and Barnes Road in Pulham Market, near Diss, at about 04:00 BST on Saturday.
The driver and one of the passengers received minor injuries but another passenger – a man in his 80s – was taken to Norfolk and Norfolk University Hospital.
The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Police have asked witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
