Firefighters tackle large waste blaze

More than 25 firefighters have been tackling a large waste fire in Stoke-on-Trent.
Crews were called to business premises on Chemical Lane in Longport at about 23:45 BST on Tuesday.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said five appliances were at the scene. A number of roads were closed and no injuries have been reported.
People living nearby were advised to keep their doors and windows closed as a precaution, and drivers were warned there could be some delays on the A500 on Wednesday morning.
