Police are investigating after a man was seen "watching children" in a park while performing an "inappropriate act".

The incident was reported to have happened at Tattenhoe Lane Local Park, in Bletchley, near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, on Sunday between 15:00 BST and 16:00.

The man was described as Asian, aged between 40 and 50 years old, clean-shaven with black, greying hair. Thames Valley Police said he was wearing a "checked-coloured top and was pulling a blue and black checked material shopping trolley.

PC Callum Czajkowski said the force did not believe there was "any wider risk to the public" but residents could see "an increased police presence in the area".

He asked for anyone who had information about the incident to get in touch.
