Man in 70s injured while changing tyre on A11

A man who was changing a tyre after his car broke down has been injured in a "serious collision".
Norfolk Police said a Volkswagen Passat collided with a broken-down Citroen Saxo on the A11 in Norfolk, at about 21:59 BST on Wednesday.
According to National Highways, at about 23:24 the road was shut northbound between the B1111 Larling exit and the B1077 Attleborough.
The road remained closed for about six hours while emergency services attended the scene and was reopened at about 05:15 on Thursday.
The man, aged in his 70s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and relevant dashcam footage.
