Person taken to hospital after four-vehicle crash

One person has been taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash on the M49 near Bristol.
The crash happened between junction 18 of the M5 and junction 22 of the M4, with police, fire and ambulance crews called to the scene at about 17:50 GMT.
"One person has gone to hospital by ambulance with injuries which are not currently believed to be either life-threatening or life-changing", Avon and Somerset Police said.
The incident resulted in traffic caught within the closure being held by police for two hours before being released, but the road remains closed. Recovery vehicles have been sent to the scene and large queues remain in the area.
