Soulful singer-songwriter Rag'n'Bone Man has been announced as the latest headliner in a series of summer gigs next year.

Known for his hits including Human and Giant, the artist will have top billing at Bedford Summer Sessions 2025, on 5 July, in Bedford Park.

He will be joined by Elles Bailey, with Simple Minds already announced as headliners on 3 July.

Last year's event featured sets from Avril Lavigne, Jess Glynne, Tom Jones, Pete Tong and Nile Rodgers & Chic.

Rag'n'Bone Man was born as Rory Graham in Uckfield, East Sussex, and started his musical career as a jungle MC before his parents encouraged him to sing.

His first big break came in 2012, when he supported Joan Armatrading and he went on to score a major hit with the gospel-inspired single Human.

His single Giant with Calvin Harris was among the UK's top 10 best-selling singles of 2019.

The venue for the gigs is a Grade II listed Victorian park, within walking distance of the town.

It has played host to a number of concerts over the years, but this year was the first time it featured the TK Maxx-sponsored Bedford Summer Sessions.
