Huge water stream bursts from pipe under road
Residents woke up to a towering jet of water which had burst from a pipe in Nicker Hill, Keyworth

Residents in a village in Nottinghamshire woke up to a towering jet of water which had burst from a pipe in the road.
Nicker Hill in Keyworth was closed on Friday morning as utility teams worked to fix the issue.
Severn Trent Water, which is responsible for the main, said it was one of the bigger pipes it operated in the network.
The firm added water supplies were unaffected and apologised for the inconvenience.

Work to fix the pipe is under way
Engineers have been working on the main and the large stream of water has been significantly reduced.
Resident Nisih Freeman said some of the water from the burst pipe started to come through the roof.
She said: "I really thought there was a storm going on outside.
"It was so loud, it was a thick mist and we couldn't see what was going on, so we opened a window and saw it was a burst pipe going a bit crazy.
"Initially, it was a bit funny but it kept going on and all the water kept coming on to the window in the upstairs bedroom - it's no longer funny because some of the water came through the roof."

Chris Crystal lives 20 metres away from where the water burst through the road.
"It literally appeared over night, it hit a soft spot in the tarmac and blew it up," he said.
"At one point it was like a geyser and my next door neighbour's had it bad - he's had water coming over [and on] his house for more than four hours - made worse by the wind.
"The Severn Trent lads were on the scene in fairness to them and managed to reduce the flow."
Dan Joy, 52, said the road has had "constant roadworks" for a significant period of time previously.
"I thought it was raining initially, quite heavily over the house," he said.
"We came out to see a 25ft (7.62m) gush of water high up in the air which was spraying the locality.
"We were soaked, the back garden is absolutely drenched but next door got it a little bit worse than us."

A Severn Trent spokesperson said: "Our teams are working on the burst pipe on Nicker Hill in Keyworth and we're sorry for the inconvenience caused.
"The pipe that's burst is one of our bigger pipes in the network and customer supplies are not affected.
"We're currently operating valves to help keep everyone's water on and stop the burst.
"To work safely there will be traffic management in place until this has been resolved, and we appreciate everyone's patience as we work."
