The family of a teenager who died after the e-bike he was riding crashed into a tree have paid tribute to a "charming, intelligent young man".

Jibrael Fehintola, 18, from Woodhouse, Leeds, suffered fatal injuries following the crash on Butcher Hill in the West Park area of the city on Saturday morning.

West Yorkshire Police said no other people or vehicles were involved in the crash, with the force appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Mr Fehintola's funeral took place on Wednesday, with his family describing him as "our beautiful baby boy" who was "loved unconditionally" by both relatives and friends.

"A charming, cheeky, intelligent young man with endless potential," they said.

"He was bold and hardworking, ambitious and resilient. His radiant smile consumed any room he graced."

They added that his "generosity and kindness were natural and unmatched".

"Although taken from us too soon, accidents happen and he enjoyed the life he lived to the fullest, by the grace of God," their statement added.
