Police are appealing for help after a man stole cash from a post office in York.

It happened just before 13:00 BST on 20 March at Huntington Post Office on North Moor Road, according to North Yorkshire Police.

The man reportedly took €420 from staff after using distraction tactics to get hold of the cash.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man officers want to speak to who they believe could have information about the incident, and anyone who recognises the man in the image has been asked to get in touch.
