Man found seriously injured in city centre

Police are investigating after a man was found seriously injured in the early hours of Sunday.
West Midlands Police were called to Granville Street in Birmingham city centre just before 04:00 GMT.
The force said the victim, who is in his 30s, was in a serious condition in hospital after suffering "a number of injuries".
How he was hurt has not been confirmed, police said, adding officers remained in the area on Sunday afternoon carrying out inquiries including CCTV checks.
