Three people were arrested after a Land Rover was driven into a police car on patrol in Hull.
Two police community support officers were in a marked police car on Dressay Grove in the Sutton area of the city at about 20:30 GMT on Monday when the grey Land Rover drove into them, Humberside Police said.
"The driver fled the scene travelling along Robson Way before coming to a stop on Priestgate," a force spokesman said.
A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, theft of a vehicle, failing to stop after a crash, drink-driving and using a vehicle without insurance. A 43-year-old woman and a man, aged 36, were also arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.
The 36-year-old was also held on suspicion of failing to stop after a road incident, assault and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
They have since been released under investigation while inquiries continue, police said.
Officers urged anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident, or has CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage, to contact them.
