Police investigate armed robbery on shop

A man entered Morrisons where he threatened a worker

Police are investigating an attempted robbery by a person wielding a knife.
The Devon and Cornwall force said a man threatened a worker with a knife and demanded alcohol at Morrisons Daily on Robartes Terrace, in Illogan, on Friday 6 June at about 21:45 BST.
The man fled empty handed when his demands were refused, said officers.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
