A man who raped another man in a hotel room has been jailed for seven years.
Aaron Tugwell, 26, was sentenced at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday after being found guilty of two counts of rape and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
The offences happened at a hotel in Burton-upon-Trent in October 2022.
Tugwell, of Bracken Way in Rugeley, was arrested the following day and denied the allegations during an interview, police said.
A jury found him guilty on all counts following a trial in July.
He was also placed on the sex offenders register for life.
Det Con Lily Rowley, from Staffordshire Police's rape and serious sexual offences unit, said the victim had shown "tremendous bravery" in coming forward.
