M4 reopens after Theale-Reading car and van crash

The motorway has reopened after being closed overnight

An oil spill caused by a crash involving a car and a van led to the closure of a stretch of the M4 in Berkshire.
The motorway was shut overnight eastbound between junction 12 for the Theale Interchange and junction 11 for the Three Mile Cross Interchange.
The road was resurfaced after the oil damaged two lanes following the crash on Tuesday evening. National Highways said the section has since reopened.
Drivers are being warned to expect delays through the morning rush as congestion clears.
