Air ambulance sent to two-vehicle motorway crash

An air ambulance has been sent to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on the A74(M) in Dumfries and Galloway.
Emergency services were called to the incident near the service station at Johnstonebridge at about 13:30.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said it had sent two ambulances, an emergency care doctor and an air ambulance with trauma team.
The road was shut in both directions for a while but the northbound carriageway has since reopened.
