A multi-storey car park in a Wiltshire town centre is closing for five days for urgent repairs.

Trowbridge's St Stephen's Place car park will be closed for concrete repairs from 11 to 15 August and will reopen on 16 August. The work was originally expected to last two days but the extent of the work has increased the duration.

Wiltshire Council's cabinet member for economic development, regeneration and assets, councillor Helen Belcher, apologised for any inconvenience but said the work was "essential to keep the car park safe and usable".

"We appreciate people's understanding and patience while this work is carried out," she added.
