Two men taken to hospital after Dingwall assault

Police said the incident happened on Friday night

Police have appealed for information after two men were injured in a serious assault in Dingwall.

The men aged 48 and 54 were taken to hospital for treatment following the incident which happened at about 19:30 on Friday in Peffery Road.

Their attacker was described as being about 5ft 9in tall, of large build with short brown hair. He was wearing a light-coloured jumper, blue T-shirt, black joggers and black trainers.

Det Con Nicola Jack said: "Inquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us."
