M1 reopens following crash

Two lanes of the southbound M1 in Hertfordshire have reopened following an earlier crash.

National Highways said the busy road was shut between junctions five for Watford and four for Elstree, at about 08:50 BST, but was open again by about 10:00.

Emergency services were sent to the scene.

It warned that some delays in the area might remain on the approach.
