Chief minister meets Starmer at Labour conference

Jersey's chief minister has met the UK's new prime minister at the Labour party conference in Liverpool.
Deputy Lyndon Farnham met Sir Keir Starmer and party members to discuss the promotion of economic growth between Jersey and the UK.
He also met the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves MP, as well as Jonathan Reynolds MP - the Secretary of State for Business and Trade.
Farnham and the Minister for External Relations Deputy Ian Gorst also met senior European ambassadors to the UK including those from France, Germany and Switzerland to "further develop the island's diplomatic relations".
