    The best friends from Tuesday (see our last picture gallery) are back at Royal Ascot embracing a different theme.

The sun has shone on the second day of Royal Ascot.

One of the of the highlights of the summer social calendar, it is taking place over five days at the Berkshire's Ascot Racecourse.

The Princess of Wales will not attend with other members of the Royal family as she continues her recovery from cancer.

But her mother Carole Middleton was pictured arriving.
