Man's body found in field, police say

The man's death is currently being treated as unexplained

The body of a man has been found in a field in Berkshire, police have said.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) said the body was found close to Hyde End Lane, near Ryeish Green, at about 06:35 GMT.

Sgt Sunny Sood said the force was investigating the circumstances of the man’s death, which was currently being treated as unexplained.

The force said it was "working to inform his next of kin".

Sgt Wood urged people not to speculate about the death on social media.

He added: "We have now left the scene after completing our enquiries there but the investigation is ongoing."
