Catapults and ball bearings seized by police
- Published
Hundreds of marbles, ball bearings and homemade catapults have been seized by police, with officers warning parents that their children should not own them.
The rudimentary weapons were taken in Langley, near Slough, on New Year's Eve and officers said that anyone with information about people using them should report them.
One of the weapons appears to be a piece of wood that has been fashioned to be used as a catapult.
"If you have a catapult or item to fire from a catapult with you in public and you have or you intend to use it to damage property or harm a person or animal you are committing an offence," officers said.
