Woman dies in two-vehicle crash on Isle of Wight

A 77-year old woman has died in a crash involving two cars on the Isle of Wight.
The crash on The Downs Road in Brading, happened before 11:20 BST on Saturday.
It involved a Hyundai taxi and a Land Rover, which was towing the trailer.
The victim, who was from Newport, was a passenger in the Hyundai.
Police said the driver of the Hyundai, a 40-year-old man, was being treated at hospital for serious injuries
The crash occurred between Knighton Shute and Brading Down Road.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the driver of the Hyundai, a 40-year-old man from Newport, had suffered serious injuries and was currently being treated at hospital.
The force added that the Land Rover driver had sustained minor injuries.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time or has dashcam footage to get in touch.
