Assault leaves man with serious head injuries
Police were called to Market Place in Penzance in the early hours of Sunday.

A man has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries following an assault in Cornwall.
Devon and Cornwall Police said they were called by the ambulance service to Market Place in Penzance at about 03:40 BST on Sunday.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital, the force said.
A police cordon remains in place, it added, while officers investigate.
The force is appealing for witnesses.
