A one-bed bungalow overlooking a beach featured in BBC TV drama Poldark has been sold for more than £420,000.

The chalet-style bungalow called Porthscylla, which sits above Porthcurno beach, went for £423,000 on Wednesday in an online sale that began on Monday.

The property was sold with 0.8 hectares (1.9 acres) of mostly cliff land and permission in principle for demolition and replacement.

Clive Emson auctioneers, which ran the sale, had placed a guide price on the property of £395,000.
