Compton Care is inviting people to its Garden of Reflection Celebration

A palliative care charity is inviting its supporters to remember and celebrate their loved ones at a special event.

Compton Care in Wolverhampton is holding the event in the Garden of Reflection at its Compton Hall site next month.

The garden was first opened in 2019 and is home to a dedicated memory wall on which locks and charms can be displayed in tribute to loved ones.

Guests are invited to take in the garden's surroundings, reflect and remember with poems and blessings, and enjoy refreshments on the lawn, from 12:30 BST on Sunday 14 July.

Joanne Till, legacy and in-memory fundraiser at the charity, said: "Last year’s event was really special, with families taking the time to celebrate their loved one.

"It is also an opportunity to come together with other people also remembering someone special and enjoy our tranquil gardens."
