Police want to identify man after child strangled

Police are appealing for help to identify a man after a child was assaulted.
Avon and Somerset Police said officers were called out to a report that the child, about 10-years-old, was being strangled and pushed up against a fence in Soundwell Road, Bristol.
The incident happened on 22 March shortly before 19:45 GMT, police said.
The offender is described as aged in his late 30s or early 40s, with receding black hair and black clothing.
Police have released a CCTV image in connection with the case and asked anybody with information to contact them.
