More acts announced for literature festival

More acts have been announced for the Wolverhampton Literature Festival which returns in February for its eighth year.

Pauline Black, singer of the 2-Tone band The Selecter, will share stories about her music, family and race at an event before the festival begins.

Comedians Josie Long and Robin Ince will discuss and celebrate books during their performances at the festival.

BBC presenter Louise Minchin, LBC's James O'Brien and the city's own Sathnam Sanghera are already on the line-up.

Other acts include a live version of the podcast Ghost Huns which will tell ghost stories to the city, and a poetry presentation which will reflect on Russia's war against Ukraine.

Wolverhampton Literature Festival aims to celebrate many voices including those of authors, poets and writers from across the UK.

The festival will take place from 2-4 February at multiple venues across the city.

Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Central Library and the Arena Theatre are some of the venues which will hold events.
