Items belonging to a woman who was murdered were stolen in a burglary just over a week after her death, police have said.
Kamaljeet Mahey was killed on 15 December at an address on Park Meadow Avenue in Bilston, Wolverhampton.
A man in his 30s has since been charged with her murder.
On 23 December, eight days after her murder, Ms Mahey's house was burgled with sentimental items being stolen from the property, West Midlands Police said.
The break-in occurred at around 01:00 GMT, with items including jewellery, clothing, and a television being taken.
CCTV and forensic enquiries are being carried out, and police are now asking for the public's help.
Det Insp Jim Mahon said: "Kamaljeet’s family, who are grieving her sad death are now having to deal with the loss of sentimental items that belonged to her.
"We ask that anyone with information about this crime and the whereabouts of the stolen property, to get in touch."
