Police have taken control of a dog after it killed three sheep.

Officers received report of "sheep worrying" near Brampton, Cumbria, on Monday morning.

Cumbria Police said they found three sheep had been killed by a dog and another two had been injured.

It happened shortly after 08:10 GMT.

Police have not confirmed the dog's breed and say their inquiries are ongoing.
