A model train garden has opened to the public in Jersey to raise money for charity.
About 350 to 400 people are expected to visit the HSBA Garden Railway on Saturday.
Volunteers run miniature trains around the site, with train sounds played in the garden.
The event is supporting the animal charity and shelter, Finni’s Ark.

Organiser Curtis Stanier said the Open Days were special times of the year
Owner Curtis Stanier has had a lifelong passion for trains and started the model train garden in 2021.
He said the Open Days were “one of the highlights of my year” and children “loved the tunnels” where the trains go in and out.
Mr Stanier added: “It's nice and quite therapeutic just to see a train pleasantly chuffing around the garden and we try to keep that aesthetic.”
Open Days later in the year will raise money for Healing Waves, Dementia Jersey and Jersey Rescue Dogs.

The trains are 4% replicas of the original models
