A festival-goer is holding runs, workouts and mini-raves to help other attendees stay fit and healthy.

Jo Bryan-Smith is the founder of Ravers 2 Runners and is attending Latitude Festival near Southwold, Suffolk, this weekend.

She has already taken about 100 attendees on a morning run around the festival site and plans to do more throughout the three-day event.

The festival is taking place at Henham Park and finishes on Sunday.

"There's been a real shift in the attitude toward people's wellbeing and overall health but it shouldn't mean that you have to be one or the other," Mr Bryan-Smith explained to BBC Radio Suffolk.

"You should be able to go and party and do things that you really enjoy and still be able to exercise.

"You get your run in, you get to see the sight, get your bearings, you get to meet new people. It's really good energy and it's a great way to get things going.

"Then you can enjoy the rest of the festival however you like."

Ms Bryan-Smith will be holding several runs and workouts as well as mini-raves from an area on the Greenpeace area.

On Sunday, she explained, she would hold more of a "chilled" workout and rave.

She added that she loved to rave but was keen to show others how they could allow for balance.

"I love raving... then I found running and I definitely do a lot more of that now than I do partying and raving," she continued.

"But I still feel like it's a really important part of me that I don't want to lose but I also [need] to look after myself.

"It's all about finding the balance and being able to live a fit and healthier life, but also being able to doing things that you enjoy."
