Drivers are being warned of overnight closures on the M6 as part of ongoing improvement works around junction 10.

The £78m project, which has seen a four-lane system introduced on the roundabout along with widened slip roads, is nearing completion.

However, some residents have told the BBC the work has made little difference to the area.

From Monday there will be a full week-long closure of the junction 10 slip roads overnight from 21:00 to 05:00 GMT, affecting drivers on the Black Country Route.

The closures will affect the northbound entry slip road and the southbound exit slip road.

National Highways said diversions would be put in place via the A454.

As a result it said additional closures would also affect drivers travelling on the A454 Black Country Route, both eastbound and westbound.
