Motorcyclist in his 40s dies in crash

A motorcyclist in his 40s has died after a crash involving three vehicles on the A14.
Suffolk Police was called to the westbound carriageway near Ipswich at about 17:45 BST on Tuesday.
The collision involved a car, van and motorcycle and the road was closed between junctions 54 and 53 in the Sproughton area.
Paramedics were also called but the motorcyclist, who was a man, died at the scene. There were no other injuries.
The force is appealing for any witnesses or any drivers with dashcam footage to contact the collisions unit, external, quoting reference 37/31141/24.
