Three men have been charged after a woman's body was found in a bungalow in Leicester.

Leicestershire Police said officers were called to the property in Radiant Road, in Thurncourt, shortly after 06:00 BST on Thursday.

A 48-year-old man has been charged with preventing the lawful burial of a body, burglary and three counts of fraud by false misrepresentation.

Two other men - aged 39 and 35 - have both been charged with burglary, the force added.

All three men have been remanded into custody to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Two other men, aged 48 and 39, who were arrested, have been released on bail pending further inquiries, the force added.

Officers said a post-mortem examination was completed, and further tests were to be carried out as the police investigation continued.
