Police seized a knife amid reports of a row in Barrow

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after police seized a "large knife".

Officers stopped the teenager in the Rawlinson Street area of Barrow at about 00:30 BST on Monday, amid reports that someone had produced a knife during an argument in the street.

The boy was arrested on suspicion of threatening a person with a knife.

Officers from Cumbria Police say he has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
