Private school head on leave amid investigation

The head teacher at an Aberdeen private school has been placed on leave while what is described as a "serious matter" is investigated, BBC Scotland News has learned.
Parents at Albyn School have been told the matter concerns only members of staff and was not a child safeguarding issue.
The school did not specify what the allegations related to, but said a full independent investigation would take place.
A statement said the head teacher - Stefan Horsman - was taking paid leave of absence and that an interim head had been appointed.
