Road closures have been planned across a city as improvement works get under way.

Peterborough City Council has issued notices to motorists ahead of planned road closures - including a single lane closure on the A47 between the Paston Parkway and Welland Road roundabouts.

The grounds investigation and survey work will take place between 8 and 27 July.

Newborough Road, between the Manor Drive Academy entrance and the A47, will also close overnight from 20:00 BST until 06:00 for roadworks between 8 and 13 July.

From 8 July, a diversion will be in place overnight on the A15 Nene Parkway southbound as the road will be closed between the A47 and Longthorpe Parkway roundabouts for replacement and repair of vehicle restraint barriers.

The closure will be in effect between 20:00 and 06:00.
