A teenage motorcyclist is in a serious condition in hospital after a collision, police have said.

It happened on Wolverton Road at the junction of Marsh End Road in Milton Keynes at about 16:30 BST on Sunday.

Thames Valley Police said the incident involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a Suzuki motorcycle and that a man in his late teens was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, suffered minor injuries.

The force called for anyone who was driving in the area at the time or has dashcam footage to come forward.

PC Alastair Jarratt said: "We are appealing for witnesses following this road traffic collision where a man is seriously injured.

"Our thoughts are with the man's family at this difficult time."
