The Big Free Fringe Weekend will return to Guildford on Saturday and Sunday with events celebrating local community and culture.

The event will kick off with an open-air evening performance by The Barricade Boys, a musical theatre group who have performed on the West End and Broadway.

The group will perform from the Guildhall Balcony at 18:30 BST on Saturday and there will also be street theatre, live music, arts and crafts and food on Guildford High Street between 12:00 and 16:00 on Sunday.

Guildford High Street will be closed to traffic from Saturday evening through to Sunday evening.

Organisers Guildford Fringe have been hosting plays, musicals, and original productions in the town for over a decade.
