A man and teenager have been arrested in connection with a knifepoint robbery of a man who believed he was going to sell Rolex watches to two people.

The victim had arranged a meeting in Kidsgrove, Staffordshire, to make at about 19:30 BST on Saturday, when the robbery took place.

When they met, the victim had the knife pulled on him and the watches were taken with no payment made, Staffordshire Police said.

Officers later made the arrests after pursuing and pulling over a car on the Black Country Route in Bilston, Wolverhampton, after the vehicle was spotted pulling off the M6.

A 20-year-old man, from Worcestershire, and a 17-year-old boy, of Wolverhampton, were detained on suspicion of robbery.

They were both questioned and released on conditional bail while the investigation continues, a police spokesperson said.
