A yellow warning for ice has been issued for Guernsey and Jersey.

The warning from Jersey Met said air temperatures could drop to -2C overnight on Thursday into Friday.

"With light winds and breaks in the cloud icy patches may form where surfaces remain wet", it said.

A yellow warning means people are urged to exercise caution over "minor icing".
