A tractor fire in a field caused the closure of surrounding roads in St Martin on Thursday morning, police have said.

Emergency Services were called at 09:57 BST to reports of fire in a field on Rue des Charrieres in St Martin.

The force said nearby roads were closed while the Fire and Rescue Service (JFRS) dealt with it. No one was injured and there was no threat to property.

The driver of the tractor was checked by ambulance staff and was said to be fine. JFRS stood down and the surrounding roads reopened a couple of hours later, the police said.
