Met PC charged with assault on police officer

A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with assaulting another police officer following an incident last year.

Kimberley Marshall, 40, of Bracknell, in Berkshire, was charged by Surrey Police following the incident on 28 December in Guildford.

The police constable has been suspended by the Met, the force has confirmed.

She is due to appear at Staines Magistrates' Court on 13 September.
