A 21-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after another man was found stabbed near a road.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the victim, a 20-year-old man, was attacked on Hunts Pond Road in Park Gate, Fareham, on Saturday shortly after 18:00 GMT.
He remains in hospital in a stable condition after being treated for serious injuries.
The force said 21-year-old Luke Foreman, of no fixed address, had been charged with attempted murder, possession of a knife in a public place and robbery. He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Monday.
As part of the investigation, police were also looking into an earlier robbery at Morrisons on Hunts Pond Road where alcohol was stolen.
The force said it believed the two incidents may be connected.
