Warnings have been issued to residents and visitors on the south coast following a significant cliff fall in East Sussex.
The cliff fall near Peacehaven was photographed on Wednesday.
Lewes District Council said: "East Sussex chalk cliffs are unstable and crumble without warning at any time of year.
"Anyone heading to the coast must stay well away from cliff edges and bases and follow the advice on signs highlighting the dangers."
The council said it was working with partners to asses the erosion and to limit the risk to the public.
The RNLI has urged people to be wary and stay "well back" from cliff edges.
Dog walkers are also encouraged to keep their pets on a short lead.
The council says anyone who sees someone in danger on or near the cliffs should call 999 immediately and ask for the coastguard.
