Two men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a 56-year-old man in North Yorkshire.
Paul Tillet was pronounced dead at a flat in Strawberry Dale, Harrogate, after police were called to the scene at 23:00 BST on Sunday.
Jason Johnson, 26, of no fixed address, and Philip Watson, 34, of Bower Street, Harrogate, appeared at York Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
The men did not enter pleas during the short hearing and were remanded in custody, with both due to appear at Leeds Crown Court on Friday.
In a statement released by North Yorkshire Police, Mr Tillet's family said: "Paul, you were a much-loved son, dad, brother and uncle, who will be truly missed and forever in our hearts.”
