A man has been charged with murder after a body was discovered in a residential area.

Paramedics alerted police to the sudden death of a man in his 50s at Althorpe Road in Luton, Bedfordshire, on Monday afternoon.

Nathaniel Sereaton, 42, of Milliners Court, Luton, was charged on Thursday with murder.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear in Luton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

Police said a post-mortem examination is due to take place, but the victim’s next of kin had been informed.
